Birthday Party for Grandpa and Sophia

One of our happiest Christmas parties is the birthday celebration for David and Sophia--two of our flamboyant and witty members, both born on December 26.   We had dinner (salmon and brussels sprouts for David, pork tenderloin and potatoes for Sophia), opened gifts, and then watched a slide show of old pictures of Sophia and David.  The show-stopper was a portrait of Sophia as a toddler, in diaper and big grin.

 

 Annelise was the photographer.  She has a special talent for getting the family to pose!

The finale for the evening was a luscious lemon cheesecake.
