Emilie's Choir

The Olympus High Choir participated in an Armistice Day concert at the University of Utah Huntsman Center on November 11, 2014.  Camille invited me to come hear Emilie perform.  It was a great program of military songs ("When Jonny Comes Marching Home," "Battle Hymn of the Republic"), speeches by military commanders, and videos of multi-generation military families.  A special award was given to a man who had gotten millions of dollars in grants for clinics for veterans.

After the concert was over, Camille and Emilie joined me for dessert at The Dodo in Sugarhouse.  Camille and Emilie shared a slice of toll house pie, but I wanted my apple pie all to myself.
