This Christmas Eve, December 24, 2024, our family gathered with Scott and Liz Calder for dinner and a Christmas program. We ask each person to tell something important that happened to them this year. The responses vary from new babies and new jobs to new trips, new talents, and new friends. Next is the talent show, with few takers. Spencer and Naomi's daughter, Eliza, sang a Christmas song this year, complete with maracas, as family members cheered her courage.
One hotly awaited event is Scott singing "Hang Up the Baby's Stocking" with his sons. Scott's sons were spending Christmas Eve with their in-laws this year, so the Spendlove men chipped in. As always, Liz provided the "Beep, beep" when the song described a new doll that goes...."Beep, beep." When/if I locate a photo of that important moment, I will post it!
