Eliza Flindt, Spencer and Naomi's daughter and Dave's and my first great-grandchild, wasn't born until August 27, 2020. Already, on June 26, 2020, we were celebrating her approaching birth. Naomi's friends threw a baby shower at an Orem, Utah park. Outside parties are the "thing" these days, since they are less likely to be "super-spreader" events for coronavirus.
Lisa was excited to be a first-time grandma.
Spencer's brother, Grant, greeted his "other grandma", JoDee Flindt. JoDee, like me, would be a first-time great-grandma when Ellie was born.
The shower was a picnic, and I brought a large muffaletta sandwich to share with the Spendloves and Flindts at the party.
Camille, Sophie, and Mia Ebert made the trek from Salt Lake City to celebrate with Naomi.
Michael K, Spencer's brother, was also at the party with his wife, Rebekah, who now works in Salt Lake City. Michael is finishing up his degree in computer science at BYU-I.
