Mia Ebert turned eight on May 25. She was baptized in Lake Titicaca, during her family's recent trip to Bolivia to help build a school with a Choice Humanitarian project. On June 11, 2017, she was confirmed a member of the LDS Church at her parents' home.
The men in the family who hold the Melchezidek Priesthood gathered in a circle around Mia as her father, Steve, confirmed her a member of the Church, gave her the gift of the Holy Ghost, and gave her a father's blessing.
We shared a big dinner to celebrate that Mia is now a member of the Church. She got to eat dinner off the red, "You are special today" plate.
The Eberts and Spendloves joined forces to produce the feast.
Al Ebert is always a delight !
Proud mother of the new Church member.
Alan Dale and Shauna announced that they are engaged! Alan Dale has been lonely since his divorce a year ago and Shauna has been lonely since her husband died three years ago, so we are very happy that they found each other.
