Let the summer begin! Dave and I spent May 21 and 22 at the cabin. The snow was off the road, and the cabin was snug, and filled with nonstop movies and ironing. We meandered over to Kamas for a late lunch at the Gateway Grille. The Grille has a good chef and even better posters and handbills hanging by the doorway, advertising events in Heber Valley.
Who knew that an equine undertaker could build a thriving business?
The Evanston Car Show is a spectacle we won't want to miss.
We found the dear cabin in good shape, after its winter rest.
Grandpa Spendlove's daffodils still bloom each spring in the backyard of the cabin.
The trees were gaining their first green leaves.
Grandma and Grandpa Spendlove were partial to signs. The sign over the gate to the cabin proclaims "Spend LoveNest" and the sign over the door invites, "Welcome to the Mountains." We do enjoy our mountain lovenest!
