Alaskan Cruise: Trees, Islands, and Red Roofs (Victoria Island, Canada 6.7.26)

After leaving Seattle on June 7, 2026, for our 28-day, Holland America "Arctic Adventure" cruise, we sailed north through Canada.  For two days, the scenery was sea, islands, trees, and an occasional red roof in a village, as we sailed along the eastern edge of Victoria Island and through the Johnstone Strait, towards Ketchikan.  
 

We sat on our deck and watched the world go by.

When we tired of watching the gorgeous scenery, there was a gym and plenty of classes and other activities.  I enjoyed a demonstration of flower arranging by the ship's fulltime flower arranger.  The suites got fresh flower arrangements each week and there were always fresh flowers in the common areas.
