Lunch with Great Grandpa Hamilton (5.26.26)

There aren't many of us women Calder cousins left.  At our lunch at the Draper Chuck-a-Rama on May 26, 2026, we represented three of the five Calder children.  From left, Sally Joyce Bradshaw (Uncle Dave's daughter), Millie Kay Francis (Uncle Howard's daughter), I (Grant's daughter), and Susie (Uncle Dave's daughter).  Cal, Aunt Sally's daughter, is still alive, but was preparing to give a prayer at the funeral of her brother, Larry Stratford.  Uncle Ham's daughter, Janet Calder, died several years ago.  We posed next to the photograph of our great grandfather, James Hamilton, which by chance decorated the wall of the restaurant.  Grandpa is the tall, dark-haired, handsome man directly above my head. He is in prison garb because he was convicted of polygamy and spent time in the Sugar House jail with other leaders of the LDS Church. Grandpa would be delighted to see the four of us so fond of each other and so fond of him!
