Seattle is a city for nature lovers. It has lush walkways along Puget Sound and in rainforests, through forests and along old railroad tracks. During Saturday and Sunday, November 24 and 25, 2018, we did lots of hiking and just enjoying the outdoor beauty of Seattle.
On Saturday afternoon, we hiked with Lisa for five miles along the Snoqualmie Valley Trail. If we had kept walking for another five or ten miles, we would have arrived at Snoqualmie Falls.
Afterwards, we savored ice cream cones at Mollie Moo's in Redmond, near Lisa's home.
On Saturday morning, we had a photo shoot with Lisa's friend. All the Flindts were in town, other than Spencer and Naomi, and Lisa wanted photos of her beautiful family.
On Saturday night, we ate at Las Margarita, a favorite Mexican restaurant in Issaquah.
The serving of chips and salsa were never-ending.
On Sunday morning, before Church, Dave and I hiked along Lake Sammamish. It was just getting light, and we loved the shades of purple, pink, and blue.
We gathered at Lisa's home after Church for homemade turkey soup and great salad. Dave usually does not like turkey soup and tries to snatch the turkey carcass and put it in the garbage before I can slip it into the crockpot. Dave didn't dare snatch Lisa's turkey carcass, and she made great soup!
After dinner, we hugged each other and made fun plans for Christmas. Dave then dashed for the airport to catch our plane back to SLC.
