We have spent a week at Snowbird in the fall every year for more than 30 years. On September 13, 2025, we checked into our condo at Iron Blosam. Each night we try a different restaurant. The Aerie, at the Cliff Lodge, is usually our favorite. This year, the chef got very creative with a bright blue sauce for our entree!Snowbird is always gorgeous in the fall, with its gray granite cliffs, trickling streams, and the hillsides turning red and golden with the changing leaves.
One evening we walked from the Iron Blosam to the Snowbird Lodge to eat dinner at the Steak Pit. We always order the mud pie for dessert.Almost as much as we enjoy spending our evenings at Snowbird, we enjoy the drive back and forth to Salt Lake City in the morning and in the evening. The canyon is alive with color. The road snakes down the mountain and, all of a sudden, the Salt Lake Valley is spread out before us.
I asked Dave one time too many to stop the car and let me take pictures. This is the only portrait he was willing to give!
