We're All Irish (3.22.26)

It felt wonderful to have my family around me on March 22, 2026 for Sunday dinner!  Mike's, Jonny's, and Camille's families were all represented.

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day with corned beef and cabbage, an Irish potato casserole, oatcakes with cheese, and a trifle for dessert.
Jonny immediately asked what he could do to help, as soon as he arrived.  I asked him to slice the corned beef.  Jonny peered at the purplish block of meat and said, "It frankly doesn't look promising."  By the time he tasted it, though, he said it was surprisingly good and only asked, "Is there mustard?"  It was also a treat to greet Steve and Mia after our month of traveling.

Henry and Sam are in the "tween" stage, between rushing downstairs to watch TV as soon as they arrive and lingering a while to chat with the adults over the dinner table.  We appreciate any attention they bestow upon us!

Sophie has lots to talk about, as she prepares for a study abroad in London and also decides on a major at BYU. "Something to do with psychology" is her latest guess.
Jenny and Jonny have fun trips planned, including attending several World Cup games.  Mike has trips to Somalia, South Sudan, France, Poland, and Finland this year.  Such interesting people with grand adventures!
