Halloween in Iowa and Utah

"Halloween and Christmas--those are my favorite holidays," the little kids say.  It has been many years since I've been thrilled to collect a pillow case full of candy bars, but, even for an adult, Halloween makes for great people watching.  Jonny keeps us well-fed with pictures of Sam, Henry, and Thomas, including this gem of their Halloween costumes.  Sam was a mime, Henry a lion, Jenny a witch, and Thomas a....?
Sam and Henry helped carve this jack-o-lantern.
Henry collected treats at the ward Halloween trunk'or'treat with this cute little bee.
Back in Salt Lake, Camille hauled out the cauldron she fills with treats for small visitors.
Mia dressed as a "granny" this year, complete with a silver wig from Amazon.
 Both grannies shared a hug.
Mia's friends roamed the neighborhood in their wigs, granny glasses, pink curlers, and slippers.
