Love Those Pretzels! (9.13.26)

We don't often get to host Mason Thomas, Annie's husband, at our table. It was a treat, on September 13, 2026, to have him with us!  Mason now manages operations for the water companies of his brother-in-law, Jono Ebert.  Mason and Annie live in Orlando, Florida, where Annie is an art director for Disney ads.  Mia is also a busy girl.  She is a student body officer at Olympus High School this year, as Publicity Chairman.

We can never see enough of Lily's princess and fairy wardrobe!

Soren and his dad, Michael, are also favorites.  It is a long drive from Layton, Utah for them to visit us.

Henry is a great supporter of my Sunday dinners.  He often asks, "Grandma, what's the theme?"  The theme on September 13 was German food, with homemade pretzels, rouladen, rotkohl, spaetzle, and apple strudel.

Other beloved guests were Mike's family (Heidi, Audrey, and Calder), Jenny with her boys, and Dave.

As summer wanes, I appreciate, more than ever, having fresh flowers on the table.  I added Swiss wood carvings to my "tablescapes."
