Snowbird, Revisited (9.13-19.26)

We have loved our timeshare week at the Iron Blosam lodge at Snowbird ever since Michael and Jonny were little boys, 35 years ago.  On September 18, 2026, during our week, Mike and Heidi brought Audrey and Calder to our condo to share dinner and memories.

Mike said he has great memories of spending time at the condo as a boy, swimming in the big pool, attending Oktoberfest, and playing arcade games in the game room.  He brings his children to join us, when he can, so they can make the Snowbird condo part of their own memories.
We started with dinner at "71", the Snowbird restaurant that honors 1971, the year Snowbird opened as a ski resort.  Audrey and Calder wrote in notebooks to amuse themselves while waiting for dinner.

Back at the condo, Heidi supervised a hide-and-seek game, feigning great surprise at finding Calder and Audrey hiding behind the curtains or under the bar stools.

During our childless evenings at Snowbird, Dave and I tried out the different Snowbird restaurants, including sitting at the outside tables at 71 (until we got cold) and walking back to Iron Blosam in the dark.

The "Aerie" at the Cliff Lodge is also a favorite restaurant.  We come early, by 5:30 pm, and watch sunset fall and change the colors on the cliff wall opposite the restaurant.
