South of Salt Lake (8.30.26)

We could have been in Georgia or Alabama.  The ribs and shrimp and grits at our Sunday dinner on August 30, 2021 screamed "the South."

Our guests included a great collection of Flindts and Flindt friends--Michael with Soren and Lily, Kirsten, and Bryce with his BYU roommate, Dax.  We also loved visiting with Heidi, Calder and Audrey, and with Susan.

Kirsten often has to work weekends at the Primary Children's Hospital lab, so it is a luxury to have her join us.

I keep a collection of stuffed animals for my grandchildren.  Calder's very favorite is the "weta", a giant cockroach creature from New Zealand.

Lily is as pretty as she is smart.  She also has a great collection of princess dresses that she often wears to Sunday dinners.
