Meatballs and Memories (7.28.24)

The spaghetti and meatballs were a big hit for dinner on July 28, 2024, but the star of the show was Soren Flindt.  He was just two weeks old and very cuddly.  Soren's parents are my grandson, Michael Flindt, and his wife, Rebekah.
Jenny also had something to celebrate.  She taught her first Relief Society lesson this morning to the women in her ward, and she did a great job.  It is an honor to be asked to teach the women of the congregation.
I asked Jonny what he wanted to eat.  After all the exotic meals I have made lately, he requested spaghetti and meatballs.  None of the guests asked, "What is this, anyway?"
We usually have two tables of guests at dinner.  Sam and Henry joined the Eberts at one table, sipping their Italian cream sodas and trading tales of their summer adventures.
Camille, Jonny, and Dave relaxed against one wall, glad to have time to "catch up."
Shauna and Alan Dale joined us, as well.  They both say that dinner at our house is a highlight of their week.
Audrey adores her mom and dad, Mike and Heidi.

Audrey also loves her little brother, Calder.

Soren snoozed with Good Dad Michael.

I can't decide which parent Lily resembles most closely, Michael or Rebekah, but she is certainly both pretty and smart.
