Alyssa at the Temple (5.18.24)

Alyssa attended the LDS temple in Orem, Utah, on May 18, 2024, for a sacred "endowment" ceremony, prior to leaving on her mission to Madrid, Spain.  

The Orem Temple is brand new, big and beautiful.  It is a favorite for students attending Utah Valley University and BYU.  Alyssa has attended one year at BYU, and will finish her degree when she returns from her mission in 18 months.

Alyssa's temple experience was a family affair, shared by her sister, Kirsten, her parents, and both sets of grandparents, the Spendloves and the Flindts.

Alyssa also invited her close friend from BYU to accompany her.

There were lots of pictures to mark this special event.

And afterwards, of course there was time for treats.  Alyssa suggested "Yognutz", a new shop in Provo that offered "smashed donuts," a frozen yogurt sundae with miniature donuts on top, and other delights.
