The Dentons Women Lawyers Group gathered at Market Street Grill on December 14, 2021, for a Christmas lunch. Tadiana Jones (not pictured) and I were the only
old-timers. We ate boiled shrimp and hot artichoke dip
with crackers as we talked about work and our lives generally. It is a culture shock for me to look at this photo and realize that I am no longer the twenty-something who couldn't imagine hanging in there, practicing law, for another thirty years. It has now been forty-four years since I graduated from law school and began analyzing contracts and billing hours. I have survived.
