A Blue and White Gala--the Games and Dancing

Let the games begin!  Heidi was blindfolded and the young men lined up across from her.
She had to decide, just by feeling their hands, which young man was Michael.
 She did it!
Michael then felt the hands of the young women, searching for Heidi.
Nope, this one felt like a sister, not a wife.
 This one, too.
 Aha!  Here she is!

Heidi threw her bouquet and Sophia caught it.  The girl who catches the bouquet is supposed to be the next one married, but exactly how will that work out, with Sophia at 10 years old and some of the other girls in their 20s?  Either some very old spinsters or a very young bride!

Bevan hauled up the piñata on a pulley and Gay wrapped a blindfold around Mia, as the first swinger.  It was hard to get a solid hit because Bevan kept flipping the piñata up and down.

Even the little guys got a chance to hit--Ezra and Alyssa and two-year-old Andrew.

Yeah!  The first real damage to the piñata.

Michael was a contender, as was Heidi.
Michael K gave the piñata a solid slam.
 Is this Heidi's brother, Kelvyn?
Jonny was the man....
The rug rats scrambled for candy each time it came raining down.

Alan Dale put some real weight behind his swing, and the piñata disintegrated.

Dave wanted a chance to hit the piñata, even though it was already in shreds.  Marissa accompanied the swingers on the accordion.

Heidi and Mike cut the cake and fed it to each other.
Mike and Heidi had their first wedding dance, as the guests gathered round and blew bubbles.
For the father/bride number, Bevan and Heidi danced the swing.

Gretta and Mike could swing, too.
The whole crowd then got on the dance floor for the bunny hop, the hokey-pokey, the Virginia reel, Norwegian folk dances, and even a polka.

After all that exercise, we'd earned one last bite of wedding cake!
