Michael is Home!

Michael Kyle Flindt returned from the Colorado Ft. Collins Mission on March 31, 2015.  He gave his homecoming speech in the Sammamish First Ward on April 19, 2015.  It is a big deal to have a missionary in your family return from a successful mission.  Both Michael's Flindt grandparents, Herb and JoDee, and I traveled to Seattle to hear him speak and tell him how proud we are of him.  We also bought Michael pots and pans and dishes at the local thrift store, and then Herb and JoDee drove him to Rexburg, Idaho on April 20, 2015, to begin college at BYU-Idaho.

Herb and JoDee joined Lisa, Kirsten, Bryce, Alyssa, and me on Saturday afternoon at the Bellevue Botanical Gardens.

On Sunday morning, Kyle, Lisa, Herb, JoDee, and I accompanied Michael as he reported on his mission to the Redmond Stake High Council.  We then attended Church to hear Michael bear a beautiful testimony and tell about his mission experiences.
