A temple wedding. That was Mike and Heidi's goal. They took an important step towards that goal on April 17, 2015, when Heidi took out her endowments in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Heidi's parents, Bevan and Gay Bastian, Heidi's sister and brother-in-law, Josh and Jessica Eagan, Mike's sister and brother-in-law, Camille and Steve Ebert, and Dave and I all joined Mike and Heidi for that important religious event. We celebrated with supper at our house afterwards. The next time we all gathered at the temple was Mike and Heidi's wedding day, May 2, 2015, in Manti.
The Salt Lake Temple and, especially, the Manti Temple, will always have special significance to Mike and Heidi as "their" temples, where they received their religious endowments and were married.
