Gledelig Jul!

My Sunday dinners, during December, focus on the Christmas traditions of Norway, Great Britain, and Mexico.  On December 4, 2022, we celebrated as our Norwegian cousins do, with a pork roast stuffed with onions and prunes, potatoes au gratin, homemade rye bread, cucumber salad, and, for dessert, a three layer cream cake.  My Norwegian dinner has been a work in progress for the past couple of years, but this time, I got it right!

Audrey loves Mia.  One of the first family members Audrey could identify in our family picture book was Mia, and Audrey hurries over to Mia whenever the two of them visit.

Audrey also loves her monkey, who comes to visit dressed in Audrey's clothes.

The Christmas tree is up and the holidays are in full swing!
