It was fun to hear Dave explain his answers. Another question: "Who would be the worst person to get stuck with in an elevator?" For Dave, "Donald Trump." And for Sophie, "Someone going into labor!" Mike was the creator of that fun game.
After dinner and the game, Thomas danced for us. Jonny played rock
music, and Thomas showed us his moves, including “the hammer,” in which he moved his arms
horizontally, and rocked his body to and fro.
Eliza danced, too, until Thomas told her, “That’s enough, Eliza. You can go.”
Henry also showed us his moves, including rolling over and over, in a
sort of Russian dance. Eliza turned
somersaults in response!
The family then sat around the dining room table, playing “Code Games” as I finished up the dishes. Camille and her crew had already filled the dishwasher with one load, as is the family tradition for guests. And I then stayed up until 1 a.m., just talking with Spencer and Naomi, Kirsten and Bryce. So soon we will all go back to the "real world", with little time for gifts and get-togethers.
Audrey runs until she drops. Occasionally, she falls asleep on the way to our house and sleeps peacefully through the party!Eliza was dressed for bed, but still perky enough to dance with Thomas and Henry!
